Second Chance Impact– Marianne Oleson

The Do Good Wisconsin Second Chance Award honors an individual who has been given a second chance at life and has chosen to transform that opportunity into meaningful service and lasting impact for others. This year, we are deeply honored to recognize Marianne Oleson for her extraordinary leadership, resilience, and commitment to building stronger, more compassionate communities. After spending more than five and a half years incarcerated, Marianne returned to her community facing the immense challenges that so often stand in the way of reentry. Rather than allowing those barriers to define her future, she transformed her lived experience into purpose — dedicating her life to ensuring others navigating reentry are supported, empowered, and treated with dignity.
